As with most things related to the spoony fellow, I find it best not to ask the reasons why.
I want some eggnog. Is eggnog tasty? I feel like you would know this.
eggnog is too sweet & creamy for some people, so considering your recent track record, you’ll love it. plus, it has the benefit of being just as strong as you want it to be, because you control how much rum you use to thin the nog. mmmm, rummy-thinned nog. 🙂

the beauty of eggnog is multi-fold. First, be sure to pick a really good rich one, with whole milk and cream as key ingredients. Choose a suitable libation to add interest (possibilities here include rum, as mentioned, or brandy, Jack Daniel’s, bourbon, spiced rum or other fun things like Navan) (Navan, by the way, is an awesome cognac infused with vanilla from Madagascar). I tend to mix the eggnog and the libation in equal parts (yow!) BUT then I add club soda or seltzer to: a) lessen the sweet richness of the eggnog and B) curb the libation to something normal people should drink. The drink goes down VERY well.
Some people put eggnog and espresso together. I don’t get that.

dude’s gotta make sure his empire will hold together so he can leave it in hands less capable than his own (b/c none are, & sadly he won’t live forever) & allow it to sustain his missions & causes, ya know?
anyway, that’s what’s always made his preaching real; he is friends w/the same devil the rest of us meet in dark alleys. i’m not going to pretend to know how & why whatever he’s doing makes sense in his head–what i know is that a lot of what he’s doing makes sense in sweeping & amazing ways, & that’s plenty good enough for me.
I wouldn’t deny he has a good heart. But so do you. I would never have an empire, it would vanish as it appeared, but then I’m no genius:)
